Goten vs. Maneki

Goten landed on the soft plush grass. The wind tickling his face, he plopped down onto the ground. He was bored, nothing exciting had happened for a while. The planet seemed silent and empty, "I want someone to spar with," Goten said, "Someone as strong as Gohan. No, someone as strong as dad!" He looked up at the clouds which were slowly passing by, "I need something to dooo!"

Goten looked at the person talking to him, "Hey I'm Goten. It's nice to meet you too."

Maneki replied to the kid named Goten by saying "nice to meet you Goten my name is Maneki would you like to have a training fight with me?" He then waited for an answer.

"Sure," Goten replied and then sprung up. He got into stance, "You go first," He said as he readied himself for battle.

Maneki said to the kid "ok if you insist." Maneki took a offensive fighting position and got ready to attack. Maneki jumped at goten and aimed a kick at his face.

Goten used his two hands to block the attack, "My turn!" he shouted as he punched at Maneki. Goten grinned, "Try dodging it."

Instead of trying to dodge Maneki braced him self for the attack but underestimated its power and was sent flying. Maneki said to the kid "your pretty good now lets see how you like this." Maneki then jumped into the air and fired a energy blast at the kid.

Goten prepared himself for the attack, he wouldn't dodge a weak-looking blast like that. He had underestimated the full power of the blast, "Heh. You got me there." Goten said, he gathered a bit of his energy into one blast, "Take this!" Goten said as he threw the energy blast at Maneki as if it was a ball.

Maneki watched as his attacked connected with the kid but he looked unharmed. He then watched as the kid fired a small energy ball at him. Maneki reflected it with his arm into a tree hitting a bee hive causing it to fall at the kids head.

Goten gasped when he saw that his attack had been deflected but where. He looked up, the bee hive above him was barely dangling, no, right then it was basically falling, "Get it off! Get it off!" He yelled as he tried his best to pull the bee hive off his head.

After struggling for a while he, finally managed to get it off, luckily, there weren't any bees around. Goten then drew his hand to his side, he stored some of his power in that hand and then he drew back the other and stored a bit more energy in that one, "FLASH!" He yelled as he got ready to launch the two beams at his opponent, "CANNON!" He forced both his hands forward and then drew them closer to merge the two beams.

"That's payback for the bee-hive!"

Maneki was to busy laughing at what he had done to see the attack coming. He realized at the last second after goten said flash. Maneki braced himself and was sent flying into a tree. Maneki got up,dusted himself off and said to goten "nice move." Maneki then picked up the tree he crashed into and threw it at goten.

Goten smiled, "Thanks." He prepared for the incoming tree, he put his arms in front of him to block it but it was no good the tree had caused too much damage during impact and he was sent flying. As soon as he regained control he dashed to Maneki trying to land a punch in his stomach.

Maneki braced himself for the incoming punch and stood his ground. THe punch hurt a lot but he worked through the pain and countered with a punch to the face.
